ACTIVITIES BY SARVODAYA SEVA TRUST
Trust organized many activities like Blood Donation Camp, Dental Health check-up and treatment Camp. For making people aware of ill consequences of Tobacco, Alcohol, & Cigarettes, awareness programs were organized & camps were done to help the handicapped people. To bring awareness and importance of environment, “Kishan Shibir” was organized by our trust to educate the farmers for better crop with least usage of water. Thus, various other camps & activities for the awareness & betterment of general public for work are also undertaken by the trust. To care ill people & to provide care for aged people, age camp was organized in which many needy were given free treatment, eye glasses, medicines etc. These days orthopedic problems have become very common and people, especially the old age people suffer a lot from such problem. So the trust felt their need and responsibility keeping in mind the suffering orthopedic problem of old age people. “Physiotherapy Center” has been established on 7th May,2006. As an expansion of physiotherapy centre from 13th July 2014, the trust opened “Dard Nivaran Suvidha Kendra” (Pin relief center) in which, with the help of modern equipments, Laser therapy treatment is given for joint & back pains. This facility is availed by nearby three talukas.
INAUGRATION OF PHYSIOTHARPY CENTRE
Physiotherapy center was inaugurated by respected MLA of Unjha, Shri Naranbhai L Patel and respected Swami Shri Narayanvallabh Shastriji on 7th May 2006, Sunday. This centre caters patients suffering from various kinds of bone and joint disorders with its advanced instruments and facilities. It is situated in a prime location near GSRTC bus stand, Vadnagar.
Older Persons (IPOP). With the help of this grant-in-aid, the organization purchased various physiotherapy instruments such as Ess Vaccum Therapy, Ess Physiotrac(Electronics traction with bed), Pneumatic compression therapy, Thera tubes, Physio ball with pump, Supaination pronation with gripper, Vibrator, Stimulator, BTL Laser cluster, Thermal massager, etc. were purchased. In the Physiotherapy Clinic a total of 617 patients have been treated from 01-04-2018 to 31-03-2019. All these patients have got very good results.
ORTHOPAEDIC AND ACCUPUNCTURE CAMP
Sarvoday Seva Physiotherapy centre organized a orthopaedic and “Marm chikitsha camp” where Dr. Mukundbhai maheta , was present and treated 235 patients. The patients were also instructed about various exercises and precautions to be taken in their daily routine.
CELEBRATION OF INTERNATIONAL YOGA DIVAS
“Visamo” old age home, run by Sarvoday Seva Trust, celebrated 4th International Yoga Day was Celebrated on 21st june,2018. The Celebration was organised jointly by Sarvoday Seva Trust and Vadnagar Nagar Palika , in the ground of Open Air Theater At Sharmistha lake . in which Social worker Somabhai modi,Ex Principal Ranjitshih Rathod Arts & Commarce Collage Vadnagar, staff and students of collage, JNV Vadnagar, Govt. Science College Vadnagar, Govt. ITI Vadnagar, Govt. Polytechnic Vadnagar and Municipal Staff of Vadnagar participated. All participants actively participated in the programme.
Three Yoga Gurus from Patanjali Yoga Pith have given demonstration for the Yoga. It was started at 07:00 am with light yoga exercise, then different asans followed by Pranayam were performed by all the participants.
The programme was completed at 09:45 am. All the participants were provided Lemon juice, Tea and light refreshment after completion of programme
